How LTS Came to Be

LTS was born during the government shutdown, November 2025, when disparities in our communities became impossible to ignore.

Devana saw how quickly people were impacted and felt called to use her platform. She wanted to create a way for people to shop with intention, support local small businesses, and build community at the same time.

What started as a vision for impact became a movement rooted in: small business wins, community wins, and guilt-free shopping.


Meet the Team

  • DEVANA TURNER

    FOUNDER

    Devana is a North Carolina native whose love for fashion was fully awakened during a year living in New York City while working at Google. Immersed in the energy of NYC, she fell in love with a culture where style isn’t saved for special occasions, every day is a chance to walk the runway because fashion is a form of self-expression.

    LTS was born from something Devana personally craved: a community for people who love fashion and creativity. For those who are tired of being told they’re “doing too much.” For those who find joy in discovering new pieces. For those who want to feel seen, inspired, and connected through personal style, while giving back to their community.

    Devana currently resides in Durham and is a fashion creator and stylist, a wife, and a proud dog mom. 


  • KIYA EDWARDS

    CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

    Kiya Edwards serves as the Operations Partner for Looks That Serve. A Durham resident, dog mom, and self-proclaimed systems enthusiast, Kiya brings over 8 years of experience in project management and program development to LTS. Kiya is excited to support the Looks That Serve community as it continues to grow.

  • STEFANI CASTRO

    CHIEF BRAND AND SOCIAL STRATEGIST

    Miami-born but Carolina-rooted, Stefani has always been drawn to storytelling—through marketing campaigns, visual content, and personal style.

    With Rihanna as her forever style icon, she believes that you don’t need a luxury price tag to look good and that personal style should feel expressive, accessible, and entirely your own.

    Inspired by everyday life, her brain operates like a Pinterest mood board, constantly connecting visuals and ideas. Stefani is a creative strategist, nail art enthusiast, concert-goer, and at home answers to her most important title: devoted dog mom.
